After 2 coats of undercoat and 3 days drying time, I finally managed to start painting the picture. This so far is day 5. Hopefully, it will only take another 1 week to complete.

In 2012 I was the Treasurer for "69 Smith Street Gallery", a non for profit, artist run gallery. I was in this position for two years and it was truly a wonderful experience.

In the process of creating an artwork or designing a space, it requires much deliberation and consideration for a pleasing outcome. There is more to it than simply regarding the style, decor and theme of the room. I delve into many things such as my client's needs, their personality, their budget, the lighting in the space, the colour scheme, selection of materials and textiles, the shapes, form, scale, line, and the desired temperature and mood. A perfect fit evolves only when a complete understanding of minds are in unison.
