My version of "portrait of the artist as an evolving landscape"

In this exercise we had to choose a self portrait of an artist, copy it as close to the original as I could and then replace it with my own image in the same manner.


This is the one of me, it is still a working progress. Both of these paintings are painted in acrylics where as the original was painted in oil. James Gleeson's original is 152x204cm, mine are both 28x35cm. Following these two, my next task is to paint 7 off-springs, varying each one either by using a different technique, style or medium.
