Surrealism Apartment - The Dining Room

The upside down world of Surrealism takes this dining room to another dimension. Salvadore Dali, James Gleeson and Orson Welles play a part in this story. The painting is one of my works specifically designed for this project. The snail is a personal symbolic interpretation on what Surrealism means in this space. The snail is an ancient creature that maybe grotesque just like many aspects of Surrealism, however it sits here on this table as a reminder that it can go anywhere and with it's own shell this creature will have a place to settle. It carries on it's back the fibonacci spiral that is the mathematical sequence of all things in nature.
